Description: This resource contains a dataset which was collected from LUANAR fish museum. The dataset comprise fish records from different water bodies such as rivers, dams and lakes. A number of researchers were involved in collecting the specimens deposited at the LUANAR fish museum. The dataset is going through a review process and will be updated in due course.
Purpose: The purpose of publishing this data is to help other users have access to Malawi biodiversity data for research.
Temporal Scope: The temporal scope of the dataset ranges from 1991-2011
Taxonomic scope: Species
Methodology: The sampling methods vary according to the project/researcher. These data are a collation of field surveys carried out at different time periods in a number of locations. Please see individual records for details.
